New Delhi: At least three individuals lost their lives and six others were harmed when an oxygen chamber detonated while it was being topped off in Chinhat territory here on Wednesday (May 5), police said. SHO of Chinhat police headquarters Dhananjay Pandey said the occurrence happened at KT oxygen plant.

“Three individuals have kicked the bucket and six others were harmed in the blast which occurred while topping off an oxygen chamber. Two harmed people are conceded at Manohar Lohia medical clinic while four are going through therapy at the emergency room of KGMU. I have visited the blast site, RML Hospital and KGMU ER. The harmed are being the best clinical treatment liberated from cost,” District Magistrate of Lucknow, Abhishek Prakash, told PTI.

A group, containing the extra area officer, extra DCP, boss fire auditor and medication overseer, has been framed to test the episode, he said.

Lucknow Police Commissioner D K Thakur, who additionally arrived at the spot, said that endeavors were on to determine the personality of the expired.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath communicated pain over the deficiency of lives in the occurrence and guided authorities to test the explanations for the episode.
