The dark and slightly noir skulls, snakes and heavy rock bands have been replaced by brighter graphics in bold and bright colours. From Pirate Radio to Nightclub Kingpin - Otiz F Angel's own Rave Story

Otiz F Angel is a record producer, nightclub owner and social entrepreneur hailing from Tottenham in North London. Expelled from school at fourteen, life could have turned out very difficult for Angel as his life quickly moved towards the all-too-common trap for the disaffected youth, drug-dealing and petty gangsterism. However, as he himself acknowledges, the vibe of peace and unity propagated by the Acid House and Rave scenes helped him focus on bigger and brighter things, drop the negative lifestyle choices and use his street smarts to great effect in the world of business.
'Rave Story', his newly-released book, tells of that journey and also looks at the dance music scene as a whole.

A record number of dance music fans descended on the city of Amsterdam for the twelfth edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event that broke all records. From 18th - 20th October Amsterdam became the ‘Capital of Dance’, attracting 72,000 clubbers to the 3 day night programme and 1,800 key industry professionals to the sold out conference. There were also over 700 DJ’s and acts performing at 34 of Amsterdam’s finest venues and it was hard to know where to start and what to see first!
