Mobile phones today
By Dazza30 @ 10:48 AM :: 5 Views :: 0 Comments :: :: Communication , Electronics, Online Marketing, Online Shopping, Sales , Technology

The mobile phone has become a jack of all trades device and is now competing with dedicated devices. Though, it may not be as powerful as devices like laptops and digital cameras, it brings together most of their functions into a single handset. In addition to versatility, the mobile phone -has also become a status symbol and a fashion statement. While a mobile like the new Samsung soul may catch the eye of the flamboyant, a Nokia n95 8GB may appeal to the young multimedia generation. Some of you may not like the idea of watching videos on a small screen which is only a few inches in width, but today you can. Mobile phones today are true multimedia devices with screens that make watching videos or browsing the internet a fun experience. Mobile phones can be categorized into three groups, with basic phones, multimedia phones and smart phones. Basic phones are those that come with the standard features you would expect, text messaging, basic camera and an mp3 player, and usually a few games. Multimedia phones provide much more functionality than the previous; you can click and share pictures, record videos, listen to your favourite music, surf the web, share files via Bluetooth technology and a whole lot more. Smart phones are the business man’s choice—they combine the features of a mobile and a PDA and are gradually becoming a truly portable computing device. What makes a smart phone 'smart' are its business features such as integrated Office suite’s, Wi-Fi connectivity, web browser, e-mail client and file manager.

In the past if you were looking for a multimedia mobile you would have to make compromises. if you wanted a handset because of its music features you would of had to except that the camera would not be the best and you would usually find that internal memory was so small that you would need to purchase a memory card.
These days with the glut of super mobiles coming on to the market the days of making a compromise with your choice has gone.  For an example the Nokia N range has produced some innovative handsets, with the N95 8GB being the top of the range at the moment.
This mobile phone has faced stiff completion in the UK market from the likes of the LG ku990otherwise known as the viewty, both have large screens and 5 megapixel cameras’s which incorporate more advanced digital camera like features.
Buying the correct mobile phone for you has become extremely easy today, with handsets that include all the features you could ever need on the market.

Let's face it- we are living in 2008 and nothing has changed much in this mature technology. As an example, go to your local

camera store... look through the view finder on 4 or 5 of competing brands of SLR cameras. Can you see the difference in optical

quality? Probably not. They ALL look good! Right? So what's the difference? Well.... it's the digital gadgets, storage, readouts,

automatic functions etc. So what hasn't changed? The Optics of course. Optics are Optics.
