It all began in 1982, the jeweller's shop which would one day become Pandora, was established by the goldsmith In each Enevoldsen and his wife Winnie in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 1987, Winnie and Per saw time to open their own factory in Thailand as a means for ensuring, among other things, control of their own designs. Lone Frandsen was hired as the designer, and the company began to focus on creating an incomparable jewellery brand. In 1996, Lisbeth Larsen, goldsmith and designer, joined the provider and, together with Lone, she has played a key role in defining the unique brand we know today as Pandora.
1999 saw the launch of Pandora's ever-popular charm bracelet over the Danish market. Customers loved the idea, and Pandora Jewellery grew in conjunction with the increase in demand. Overseas, interest in selling Pandora Jewellery in addition has been high turning Pandora into a global brand that happens to be sold pandora nz internationally in 18 countries.
